Great dining in Krakow in mid November


In case you happen to visit the town of Krakow one of these days, there are a few dining venues to consider. This is where you will find tasty meals, a cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. The first place on our list is U Stasi, which is a nice spot for lunch, serving traditional meals such as soups and dumplings, at low prices. The restaurant is located in Stare Miasto and has the typical atmosphere of an old Polish bar. The place is best visited before 2PM, even if that means you have to wait a while with students and their professors in a long queue.

Another nice place to have lunch or dine in the city of Krakow this November, is Fabryka Pizzy or the Pizza Factory, which serves some of the best pizza in town. Actually, there are 30 different pizzas available – vegetarian, meat, etc., all made using fresh produce. You can also can add ingredients of your liking. There are also various salads and pasta, soups and of course desserts. Fabryka Pizzy has average prices and three pizza outlets all over the city – in the Jewish quarter, near the Central Bus Station and near the main square of Krakow.

Those who love burgers should go to the Love Krove place, which is a new spot, where one can order meat and vegetarian burgers and salads, along with beer and other drinks. The place is located in the Jewish quarter of Kazimierz and has an interesting interior. Inside are often organised photo exhibitions and various parties. There are free magazines one can read and free Wi-Fi internet is available.

Another place that serves good but not expensive food is the Koko restaurant, which is placed in the centre, in Stare Miasto area. The restaurant serves typical Polish food, which is presented fresh and very tasty. Good to try are the Pierogi. The Koko restaurant is open daily from 10 o’clock in the morning until 3 o’clock in the afternoon.

The best place for vegetarians in the city of Krakow is called Momo. The spot is ideal for those who are into healthy and ecological eating and it is aimed at pure vegans. The menu is very informative as well and everything is tasty and fresh. There are also some dishes from different countries. Momo is located in the Jewish District and is open every day from 11 o’clock in the morning until 8 o’clock in the evening.

Another place that deserves attention is Chimera, which is a kind of a restaurant and a kind of a self-service place when it comes to the salads. The main hall of the restaurant is in the basement and that is where one is served. One usually can choose four or six portions of a certain dish and the choice of hot dishes and salads is impressive. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the tables are lit by candles and everything is just right. Chimera is located in Stare Miasto and is open from 9 o’clock in the morning until 10 o’clock in the evening.
